[Indeed, Gelda can be found heading for the grocery store on this fine day. She'll probably make a stop by the bakery to visit Regal while she's at it, so basically she'll be all over the village. It's awfully chilly outside, which is why she's bundled up nicely. Without a scarf, you just might die. Or catch a cold, anyway.

Feel free to stop her for conversation if you'd like.]

Hm, I think spaghetti would be wonderful, or perhaps lasagna. Which would you prefer?

[... Huh. Suddenly she's overcome with the most peculiar feeling. Like she's never been happier to hear Regal's voice. A warm smile appears on her face.]

Ah... My, that's a tough one. Lasagna, I suppose.

[Likewise, Regal suddenly feels a curious desire to spoil Gelda rotten-- well, more than he already does, anyway. He's starting to regret not having all of his resources from back home at his disposal here so that he could take her out for a romantic night on his yacht or something similar.]

Would tiramisu for dessert work as well? I have the sudden urge to make something fancy for dinner tonight-- at least, more fancy than usual. Of course, I trust you have no objections to that.

[His tone is playful as he says this. In truth, he's starting to plan a lot more than just a fancy dinner...]

[Oh Regal. The truth is, he could be a smelly hobo and she'd still love him with all her heart. It was never the fancy cooking or the fact that he has a yacht back home; it was always his kindess and good looks and... gosh, is there anything about him she doesn't love?]

I'd be a fool to decline that offer. Though, you don't have to go through so much trouble if you don't want to. I'd be perfectly fine with a simple pasta, so long as you're eating it with me.

[He was a smelly prisoner, that's close to a hobo? Sort of? As a matter of fact, it's probably good she didn't see him back then or else the handcuff jokes would never end. Not that he'd mind handcuff jokes right now; actually, if she were to suggest using them, even in jest, he might very well agree if that was what she wanted...]

It's no trouble at all when it is something I enjoy doing. [He pauses briefly. Why are they talking over the journals when he wants to see her right now?] ... where are you at the moment?

[Regal enjoys cooking and she knows that, so she'll gladly let him have his way in the kitchen tonight. Still, part of her can't help but feel that time could be better spent in another manner. Without the handcuffs. If she did suggest that, it'd definitely be in jest.]

Home. Like I said, I'm heading for the store soon. [There's a pause, before she asks with a somewhat playful tone:] Why do you ask?

[Let him have his way in the kitchen and he'll let you have your way anywhere else, Gelda, and that includes the handcuffs. And besides, who says he's not up for spending time in another manner after that delicious dinner? He's feeling particularly affectionate right now.]

I was just thinking that it's been almost three hours since I last saw you, that's all. That's more than enough time for me to have earned a short break from work...

[That makes two, Regal. Gelda's feeling awfully restless as well. Strange, it wasn't like this when she woke up this morning. Regal's wonderful voice must have that effect on her, clearly.]

I could stop by the bakery, if you'd like. [She certainly hopes he'd like it. If he says no, her afternoon would seem incredibly bare and lonely.]

[Would Regal ever say no to something like that? He's lonely in the bakery as well, because it's not like cakes and cookies are very good company. Certainly nowhere near the level of such a beautiful, intelligent, funny woman as Gelda.

... you know, he's got plenty of whipped cream in the-- wait, where did THAT thought come from? Err. Not that it's a bad one, it's just not something that had ever crossed his mind before.]

I would love that. In fact, I just finished baking a chocolate mousse cake if you would like to be my taste-tester for that little project.

[... and now he's thinking about chocolate sauce, way to go Regal.]

I'd be delighted. [Heck, he could've offered her stale bran muffins and she'd still come over. The most important thing in the bakery is Regal himself. Hm, would he be wearing a chef's hat right now? She certainly hopes so. He looks absolutely adorable in that. ... Better hurry over there as soon as possible and find out.]

Don't go anywhere, I'll be right there. [After she checks her hair and maybe puts on some light make-up. Has she shaved her legs recently? Hm, better do that too, just in case.]

I'll be waiting.

[He'll wear the chef's hat and an apron if she wants, maybe even an apron without a shirt. Although he should probably lock the door and put up the "Closed" sign once she gets there... wait, wouldn't doing this be unhygenic? Well, there's always that back "office" of sorts... yes, that will do nicely. He'll just clean things up a little bit while he waits for her to arrive.]

[Now now, Regal. Let's not jump to conclusions, here. Nobody said anything about kinky sex in the bakery. A surprisingly short amount of time later, Gelda walks through the door, glancing around hopefully to catch a glimpse of her beloved boyfriend. She literally did get here as fast as she could.]

[Not fast enough for Regal, who has been waiting to sweep her off her feet into a kiss the moment she walks in the door. Hopefully that's what she had in mind as well, as he's a bit too enthusiastic to stop and ask first. He's even going to be a bit dramatic about it, dipping her back before he actually goes in for the kiss.]

[W-whoopsadaisy! That certainly caught her off-guard. If she didn't catch a glimpse of that mane of familiar blue hair and realized it was Regal, her selfdefense reflexes would've kicked in. Instead, she relaxes in his grasp, giving a soft moan of delight. Both her arms move up his chest and wrap themselves around his neck.]

[Yes, that's just perfect. He's got a solid hold on her so that she won't fall, but given that he's dipping her back, the entire experience is undoubtedly a little bit dizzying in a good way. All of this is making him feel a little bit like a romance novel hero... now he's starting to understand why women like to read those things so much. There's definitely some appeal to the whole "sweeping a woman off her feet" thing.]

[For over a year now, Gelda liked to think of Regal as her own personal Knight. He's always around to look after her and treat her like a proper lady, after all. This is just another one of those many displays that adds to that impression. One of her hands starts playing with his long blue locks, twirling them around her fingers mildly. Her back is cramping up mildly but, eh, she doesn't care. It's a small price to pay for such an amazing experience.]

[After a long moment he'll bring her back upright with a smile, arm still around the small of her back in a gentle yet reassuringly secure hold. He's actually enjoying this more than he'd expected as well. Good thing he has a wonderful woman to spoil rotten!]
